Menus
Darling,
Am aiming to get prepared for our lovely Christmas present to come. Noretta does little fancy cooking these days (and reduced shopping expeditions), so I've drawn up a list of dishes and menus which we tend now to use more often. Please have a look and let me know which of these you don't like, so that we don't lay in the wrong things. Also, if you would like at some point to make one of your scrumptuous creations, please let's know the ingredients so that we can have them to hand.
We can talk about this tomorrow, when I can also tell you the events programme thus far.
Al love till then,
Daddy

Mulled Wine - 1998
Pour a bottle of red wine into a saucepan (preferably enamelled).
Add 2-3 cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, 5 clovers, 5 juniper berries and 1 bay leaf (or a bag of mulled wine spice).
Put in half an orange and half a lemon (both sliced), and a dessert spoonful of honey.
Heat, stirring occasionally but do NOT boil.
When hot, let it draw for 5 minutes, then pour into heat-resistant glasses - and enjoy!
